Album of the month - Fleetwood Mac Rumours

Released on this day ( Feb 4th ) 1977, this classic doesn't really need much of an introduction but it should be noted that contained within it are some of the finest ( in my humble opinion)  passages of electric bass guitar ever recorded - The Chain, Dreams, Go your Own Way.

Recorded amid intense personal upheaval, including breakups within the band, it's something of a miracle that this moment in time sounds as good as it does, a testament to the musicianship that made up the band at the time.

And no matter which Mac camp one sits in, it stands.
