Elicit MK5 Stereo Integrated Amplifier

The all-new Elicit MK5 stereo integrated amplifier is designed and built to the highest standards. Housed in Rega’s latest custom casework to match the rest of the range, the MK5 builds on previous designs by incorporating Rega’s multi-award-winning Class A/B power amplifier circuit. It delivers a powerful 105 W per channel into 8 Ω loads (127 W into 6 Ω).

Rega engineers have developed a brand-new DAC circuit, providing high-quality digital connectivity and seamless integration with a variety of external devices. A high-quality moving magnet (MM) phono stage is built in, and the headphone output is configured so that speaker switching is managed by the output mute relay—preserving signal purity by avoiding interference with the main signal path.

The Elicit MK5 also adopts several key design elements from the acclaimed Aethos amplifier. This includes a discrete FET-based pre-amplifier circuit and a premium Alps volume potentiometer for improved sonic and technical performance. Careful attention has been paid to component selection throughout, including discrete circuitry, high-quality relays, polypropylene capacitors, and Sanken output transistors.

The galvanically and optically isolated digital inputs feature a Wolfson S/PDIF receiver IC, providing exceptional clarity and detail. Output is handled by a Wolfson DAC and a Rega-designed discrete line driver circuit. Drawing on decades of award-winning experience in amplifier and digital design, the Elicit MK5 offers a refined balance of performance, connectivity, and musical accuracy.
