This extremely low mass diaphragm "squeezes" air and requires almost 90% less excursion than the typical 1" dome tweeter, which drastically minimizes distortion while providing a lightning fast response time. The increased surface area also provides a wide, yet controlled sound dispersion to create a realistic and carefully etched sound stage.
MartinLogan's new architectural speakers feature ultra-low profile, paintable micro perforated grilles with no visible bezel for near invisible integration into any wall or ceiling. A magnetic system secures grilles easily into place, reducing the risk of warping or damage during installation.
Synonymous with electrostatic speakers, MartinLogan is famous for producing the finest quality electrostatic speakers for the home audio market. There’s something special about a MartinLogan electrostatic speaker that offers an extraordinary and compellingly realistic audio reproduction. This magical sound is created by using an electrostatic panel with super lightweight diaphragm for instantaneous movement and pairing this with a conventional cone speaker to deliver high quality bass in a hybrid speaker package.
Formed in the late 1970’s by Gayle Martin Sanders and Ron Logan Sutherland, the company created a name for itself in 1983 with the much acclaimed Monolith electrostatic speaker. The company has continued to evolve and develop their technology and now offers a full range of home audio speaker systems for Hi-Fi and Home Cinema systems.
Those who have never heard an electrostatic speaker before will immediately notice the difference when listening to their first MartinLogan electrostatic. View our range of MartinLogan speakers below and get in touch with our team if you need further information.
